1. About these terms

These terms apply when you visit grorewards.co.uk, use its features or join GRO early access. The website is operated by GRO Technologies Ltd ("GRO", "we", "us" or "our").

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. When a specific GRO service or partner programme is made available to you, additional product terms may apply and will be presented before you use it.

2. The early-access service

The GRO website lets you learn about the platform, view the product experience and register for staged early access. Joining the programme does not by itself create a bank account, credit agreement or tenancy agreement, and individual services must be activated separately when offered to you.

We may invite people in stages and are not obliged to offer a particular service by a particular date. Early access is currently free, but optional products or partner services may have separate charges that will be disclosed before you agree to them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to join early access. GRO is initially available to eligible people in the United Kingdom. Availability may depend on factors such as location, tenancy circumstances, participating providers and product requirements.

If you use this site for a business or partner enquiry, separate written commercial terms may apply.

4. Your registration and details

You agree to provide accurate, current information and not to submit another person's details without authority. You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date.

We may refuse, remove or combine registrations that appear duplicated, fraudulent, automated, abusive or inconsistent with these terms. You can ask us to remove your early-access registration by emailing hello@joingro.io.

5. Communications

We may send messages necessary to manage a request you make, such as an early-access confirmation or service update. Promotional email and launch SMS choices are optional. Where you consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time using an unsubscribe option or by contacting us.

6. Credit reporting, credit scores and GRO Rewards

Credit information

Paying rent on time and having eligible payments reported may contribute to a credit history and may positively affect a credit score over time. Results are not guaranteed. Credit reference agencies and lenders use their own data, scoring methods and eligibility criteria, which GRO does not control.

GRO does not provide financial, credit, mortgage or legal advice through this website. Information is general and should not be treated as a recommendation or promise of a particular financial outcome.

GRO Rewards

GRO Rewards, marketplace earning, rent contributions and Rent Holiday goals may be made available to eligible users under specific programme terms. They are not cash, e-money or guaranteed benefits unless those terms expressly say otherwise. Rewards are subject to availability, participating partners, eligibility, expiry, redemption and programme rules.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the site unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person;
• attempt to bypass security, probe vulnerabilities or interfere with the site;
• submit malicious code, automated spam or misleading information;
• scrape, copy or exploit the site or its content at scale without permission; or
• misrepresent an association with GRO.

8. Third-party services and links

The site may link to information or services provided by credit reference agencies, Open Banking providers, merchants, landlords, letting agents or other third parties. A link does not mean we control or endorse every aspect of that service. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services.

9. Intellectual property

The GRO name, brand, site design, product concepts, software, text, graphics and other site content belong to GRO or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal, non-commercial use. No other right is granted without our written permission.

10. Site availability and changes

We aim to keep the site accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site or early-access programme. We may also update these terms. The latest version and update date will appear on this page.

11. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Because this is a free early-access website, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used it, or for business losses suffered by a consumer. You should not make a tenancy, borrowing, investment or other financial decision solely from illustrative website content.

12. Governing law and contact

If you are a consumer, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, while any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live remain available. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear a dispute. Business use is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
